Happy Hour in the Pearl District

I met with some of my favorite Portland gals, Christina and Johanna for a quick shoot in Portland's Pearl District. The weather was absolutely perfect for it - crisp and bright.

Christina scouted the perfect background for our first few shots. It turned out that we had ourselves an audience - not one, but two, staff members from Portland Self Storage came out to chat with us and let us know that they were having a great time watching us on the security camera.

Apparently we're not the only ones who noticed the door - Nike and other brands often do shoots in that same walkway.

Christina brought the ~perfect~ pink sparkly flask with her, which made for some really sweet shots.

I also wanted to use this time to experiment with some more motion, blur, and candid photos.

Finally, no trip is complete without a stop for drinks. We finished our day at River Pig Saloon, a classic Pearl haunt.
